Caleb 5 weeks old

Caleb is 5 weeks old. He is really starting to focus more on faces, objects, and lights, in fact he loves to stare at 'his wall' too!

Bath Time!

Our little "Harley" baby!

Grandpa Dennis and Grandma Mari brought Caleb a little Harley Davidson outfit. It was a little big on him but he is so cute as a little biker baby!

Caleb at 2 weeks old!

Caleb's grandparents from North Dakota came to visit for the first time. He also got to meet his cousin, Alex!

At Caleb's 2 week check up at the doctor he weighed in at 10 lbs 12 oz. He gained over a pound since coming home from the hospital! His umbilical cord stump also fell off around this time...now he can have a real bath!!

Caleb's First Week Home

Caleb was discharged from the hospital on September 27 with a clean bill of health! His discharge weight was 9lbs 11 oz; it is normal for babies to lose a few ounces before they get home. Here he is on his way home..his first car ride!

It was an adjustment for all of us to have Caleb at home. Our first week was spent trying to figure out his eating and sleeping habits. Overall Caleb was an easy baby from the start!

Caleb in the NICU

Caleb spent 3 days in the NICU at St. Cloud Hospital. We were there all the time with him, plus he had a lot of visitors as well, including his Grandparents, Great-Grandparents, and lots of family and friends.

Caleb had his first bath in the NICU, with the help of the wonderful NICU nurses. He was NOT happy and did not enjoy bathtime!!
