19 Months Old!

Caleb is 19 months old tomorrow. I guess before we know it he'll be a 2 year old! He sure acts like it sometimes. We had a really fun weekend...on Saturday Caleb and I met some friends for lunch and we went to a fair. Caleb had his face painted...Go Twins! He sat perfectly still for that and didn't even flinch. He was excited to have a 'ball' on his cheek!


On Sunday Marshall and I took Caleb to Como Zoo. Right away Caleb saw the gorilla statue outside of the primate building and got excited to see a monkey...he yelled out "oo oo ah ah!" Once we saw some real monkeys he was not as excited! He was afraid of the huge gorillas and kept saying 'scary' after that. Even the giraffes, zebra, and Sparky the Seal were 'scary'! It was still a fun time. That afternoon we took advantage of the nice weather and brought Caleb to the park. He had a blast playing on the playground and running around. He loved the slides. (I didn't bring the camera with! Oops). He also had some fun playing basketball and blowing bubbles with Daddy in the backyard. He was pretty excited to see the bubble mower Grandma and Grandpa bought for him!


Caleb's been sleeping well lately..except for teeth bothering him once in awhile. He's working on his last two teeth (for awhile anyway)!

Children's Museum

On Sunday we took Caleb to the Children's Museum in St. Paul. We had such a great time, it was very much worth the trip. There was a Sesame Street exhibit there that Caleb enjoyed...he had fun looking for his favorite Sesame Street characters. His favorite part of the museum was either the music room (he got to play the guitar, sing, and dance around on a stage and it looked like he was in a music video!) or the water room, he got to play with huge bubbles!! Daddy had a fun time playing with Caleb, too.

Finally spring?!

Is Spring ever going to show up?? I took these pictures on Sunday..and the next day we had about 7-8 inches of snow. At least it melts fast now that it's April. Caleb is really going to love playing outside this spring/summer. He had a blast running around the backyard for awhile. He was looking for the bunny that we see sometimes. He also kept trying to make a basket in the basketball hoop..he was frustrated that it was so high up! He has a smaller hoop downstairs, we'll have to bring it outside someday for him to play with.

Fargo!

We went to Fargo last weekend to meet Marshall's dad, stepmom and nephew, Alex...we stayed in a hotel Saturday night. Caleb had a lot of fun hanging out...we haven't seen them for a long time so it was a nice visit! Caleb really enjoyed playing with his cousin Alex and he loved all his new toys Grandma and Grandpa brought him. We thought he'd like swimming again but not so much this time. The pool was pretty crowded so he was probably afraid of all the wild kids splashing around. Caleb did really well traveling, so that was a relief!
