Last weekend for Mother's Day we went to Osakis and spent the weekend at the farm. It rained all day Saturday so we couldn't do much outside, Caleb was disappointed! He splashed outside for awhile in his rainboots but it was too cold out for much more. We stayed inside and he played with my family...Ma, Pa, Uncle Joey, Auntie Stephanie and Auntie Laura were there. Laura and Stephanie helped Caleb make a 'fort' out of blankets and chairs, he thought that was so much fun!
On Sunday we woke up to beautiful sunshine! Caleb went outside right away to explore the farm. He was so excited to look around, he doesn't remember being out there last year. He rode on the four-wheeler with Daddy and went on the tractor with Pa and Uncle Joey. He loved pretending to drive everything. We went to Nelson for lunch with the Waldvogel family, there were A LOT of people there! Caleb was pretty shy but he warmed up to his Great Grandma and great-aunts! It was a fun weekend.
Caleb had a busy weekend! He had a hair cut, this time we went pretty short..for summer. He looks so grown up and handsome. The hairdresser said he was the best behaved kid she's had...I don't get it, but he sits perfectly still and quiet the entire time. It is the quietest we ever see him! After hair cuts we picked up a new bike for Caleb. He is SO excited about the bike!! He can't really figure out the pedals but he's so excited to try. We also went to the park, to attempt to fly a kite, but it really wasn't windy enough. Caleb loved the playground...the slide is his favorite.
