Spring!

We are glad spring is here...it's still a little chilly today, but we've had some nice weather this week. Caleb's been outside every chance he gets. I bought him a bicycle helmet and he loves it, even though he has not mastered riding the bike 100%. After several days of being outside, his eyes have been itchy and red...so here we go again with that...he had the same issue last spring. He had a doctor's appointment this week to check up on his ears (clear, no infections!) so I talked to his doctor about the seasonal allergies. Last year we just did eye drops. This year we are trying Children's Zyrtec. You can get it over the counter and it should help with his eyes and also with a runny nose and sneezing. Hopefully this works. I've never had allergies so all of this is unfamiliar terroritory for me!

The last picture is after Caleb's hair cut last weekend. It had been awhile and his hair was getting pretty shaggy. He looks older now!

Grandpa and Grandma Dean

Caleb's Grandpa and Grandma Dean were down to visit a couple weekends ago. They stayed in a hotel nearby so we were able to see them for a couple days. Caleb had a great time, just running around their hotel! He got to paint, color, do some crafts, and jump on Grandpa Dean. He attempted to go swimming, but he was afraid once we got into the pool area. I hope he gets over this fear of pools!

It's March!

I'm sharing a lot of pictures today....Caleb pretending to drive a boat, helping out in the kitchen and helping Uncle Joey fix chairs, and at the Nickoledeon Universe park at the Mall of America. We met some friends at the Mall of America a couple weekends ago and Caleb went on rides for his first time. He had a great time, he was so excited and he would've stayed there all night if we let him!

Potty training has not been going as well as it started out! I think Caleb has lost interest a little. We'll stick with it, though. He also has an ear infection so not feeling well may be part of the problem. I brought him to the doctor last week after he complained about his ear hurting. Sure enough, just the one is infected. This is the ear without a tube (it had fallen out last summer). I hope we aren't starting that vicious cycle of one infection after another. He goes back in a couple weeks to have it checked again. Good thing is that Caleb LOVES the doctor's office!
