Helping Pa!

My Dad has been putting new closet doors up at their house and Caleb has been so interested in it. Besides the million questions, what are you doing Pa? What's that for, Pa? he has wanted to help. He gets so excited about stuff like that. Hopefully he'll end up being more handy than either of his parents!

North Dakota Easter!

We celebrated Easter in North Dakota this year. We went to Minot first for a couple days and stayed with Marshall's Grandma. We saw deer and turkeys right outside the window there! Caleb thought that was pretty neat...he kept calling the deer "reindeer." We had a sleeping issue our first night (Caleb is getting too big to sleep with us) so we bought him a sleeping bag and he had fun with that. We were surprised we didn't even have to stay in the room with him for nap or bedtime. The Easter bunny came on Good Friday (to help alleivate some of Caleb's boredom).


We headed to Mandan to spend the weekend with Marshall's dad and stepmom, and his cousin Alex. We celebrated his dad's birthday and Easter with that side of the family. It was nice to see everyone and Caleb had a great time playing with everyone. He was shy for a few minutes but warmed up really quickly! He had a great time looking for Easter eggs in the backyard and loved all the Easter goodies..especially Diego bubbles and all the candy!


We stayed in a hotel in Fargo on our way home...on the way there we drove through some flooding on the road. Scary! It was pretty wet everywhere in North Dakota. Caleb loved the hotel. He slept in his own bed (pull out couch) and played 'elevator' in the closet.

Big News!

We have some big news to share..we are buying our first house! We close on May 8th! We are so excited and can't wait to have a space of our own. Here are just a few recent pictures...Caleb with kitty, Caleb with a bite mark on his face (from Anita at daycare!) and his latest accomplishment..drinking out of a big boy cup!

Waldvogel Family Easter

We celebrated Easter with my family the weekend before the actual holiday since we were going to North Dakota this year. We colored eggs with Caleb and had an Easter egg hunt. He loved it. Ma and Pa gave him a soccer ball and net (and some other goodies too) and Uncle Joey and Auntie Steph gave him Candyland and some books. Caleb is really into soccer and can't wait to run around some more outside with his new ball and net. He's also had fun playing Candyland already..although he can get disappointed when he does not win!
