Who is that kid?
The day after Easter, Caleb had his second dentist appointment. He was looking forward to this..after his first trip to the dentist last year that he loved so much! Again, he did great. He jumps right in the chair, does whatever they ask of him (they even took x-rays this time!) and was very interested in all the machines and gadgets. His teeth look great, too. For such wonderful behavior, he was rewarded with a token to pick out a prize from their prize machine. He chose a fake mustache! He wanted to put it on right away in the car, so we did and I snapped this picture of him with my phone. He wore it to daycare, too. Silly kid! He thought he looked like Grandpa.

Easter Celebrations
I'm getting really behind on my posts here and I have a ton of Easter pictures to share...so here you go!
We had a nice Easter this year, we had several different celebrations going on and the kids really had a good time. On Good Friday, we colored Easter eggs at my parents' house with my family. This is an important tradition in my family, I remember doing this with my Grandma and cousins when I was little. We'd always dye eggs at our house or at my Aunt Louise's...we'd make a list of all the family members and we'd cross off a name after someone made that person an egg. We are doing the same thing now with my kids and I really enjoy it. Caleb was able to really participate this year and Ella had no idea what we were doing, but she had fun, too.
The kids also got Easter gifts from Marshall's dad and stepmom and they had a great time opening those up (somehow I lost my pictures of that event, sorry! I think they are on Facebook). On Saturday, we went to Marshall's mom's house for an Easter dinner and egg hunt. The kids really got into looking for the eggs there. They each got some neat gifts, too..one of them pictured below (a blow up crab pool for Ella..can't wait to use that this summer!).
Easter morning the kids got their baskets from the Easter bunny at our house and then we went over to my parents' to open baskets there and look for more eggs. The Easter bunny at my parents' hides baskets for all of us (big kids too) and we get clues to look for them. Caleb thinks this is the coolest thing and had been talking about the clues for months. He had so much fun finding his basket (it was in the bath tub!). Auntie Steph and Uncle Joey gave the kids gifts, too and Caleb's was a fishing pole...he is really looking forward to fishing for the first time! We went to my Aunt Kathy's house later for Easter dinner...and another egg hunt. The kids were pros at this by the end of the day! My cousins' kids were all there too and Caleb had such a fun time playing outside with them all. Ella just loves baby Kate and had a fun time checking her out, too. It was a busy weekend, but lots of fun, too!
