Graduation was on May 30 and it was a wonderful night for it. They actually were able to do graduation outdoors like it's supposed to be! My graduation was rained out (actually not raining during the ceremony though) so we were crammed inside, and my brother's was held off site at an indoor sports arena. It was neat to be there on the football field, watching these kids finish up such an important part of their lives. Last Sunday, June 6th, we had an open house for Laura. It was a huge party and lots of fun. I'll have to share pictures from that day later!

Graduation 2009
My little sister Laura graduated from high school! I can barely believe it. I remember vividly the day she was born..I was 9 years old. Now she's 18 and it's been 10 years since I graduated from high school. How did that happen? Watching her go through this milestone has been really bittersweet. It's sad because she will always be the baby of our family...I always imagine her as the little 5 year old bratty "booger." It's hard to picture her as an adult! It's also amazing to see how wonderful she has turned out, which is sometimes hard to believe given the influence my brother and I, and our cousins, Angie and Jenna, had on her. I've also been having a lot of deja vu remembering my high school graduation, 10 years ago. Time really does go by fast! Before I know it Laura will be done with college and married with kids or something!
