Caleb and Kitty have been getting a long very well, lately! Caleb is always chasing after Kitty, and surprisingly Kitty isn't too bothered by it, except when Caleb grabs her tail. Caleb is also getting really good at pulling himself up and he's finally mastered finger foods. We went to see his doctor yesterday after his cough and runny nose had gotten consistently worse.
Turns out he has a double ear infection! He hasn't complained one bit about it, none of the characteristic signs like pulling on his ear, not sleeping well, not eating well...he's been his normal happy self, just with a cough and gunky nose! His doctor said some kids are just like that..but it sure does make it hard to figure out what is wrong. He's on antibiotics so that should clear up everything.
Caleb will be 8 months old tomorrow! I think he may be working on more teeth, but who knows..he is always drooling! He's getting better every day with eating solid foods. Before too long we'll stop doing baby food altogether. The sippy cup is a different story though. He uses one at daycare everyday for lunch time but I haven't been as good about using it at home. It's challenging to only have a few hours together at the end of the day. And as you can see in the pictures, Caleb's hair is getting really long! Pretty soon we'll need to cut it.
