Enjoying the fall!

Caleb has really gotten over his fear of grass and just LOVES to play outside now. Last weekend we spent some time in the 'backyard' and he went crazy running around in the leaves. It was exhausting for Mommy! Caleb has a new word this week, too..."auntie"!! Guess who is beyond thrilled to hear him say that....Auntie Laura, of course. I'm sure Caleb's other two aunties will be happy to hear that too.

We still haven't decided what was causing Caleb to spit up so much. He's been on formula for the last week and he's been doing great. I'm starting to think it is something to do with the milk..maybe a milk protein allergy or lactose intolerance, but I don't know. It's so much to worry about, all the time!

13 months

Caleb is almost 13 months old..next week. He seems to be teething lately, at least I hope he is. He hasn't gotten a new tooth for a long time and he's been drooling and chewing on stuff like crazy. He'll probably end up with several new ones after all this! We've been having an issue with spit-up/throw-up lately. He never spit up much as a baby but he's been doing it a lot lately. I called his doctor about it this week and discussed some different options. Since we just recently started him on whole milk, she wants to first rule-out that as a cause. We are going to switch back to formula and then gradually introduce whole milk again. Maybe he wasn't ready for it or maybe we switched too abruptly. If that doesn't solve the problem, it could be reflux or maybe a different food allergy. So we'll see...it is always something, I am learning!

The wedding!

My brother got married on Saturday! The wedding was beautiful and it was a lot of fun. Caleb was such a cute little man in his suit! He had a rough weekend being at the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, pictures, the wedding, the reception, etc. He did really well, though. Saturday morning he spent with Angela and then Saturday night Grandma Karen picked him up at the reception. He was getting a little cranky and tired! His only nap all day was spent laying on Angela as she sat in a chair at the reception! Caleb didn't get to spend much time dancing at the reception. I think he was a little overwhelmed! He had fun seeing so many family and friends..he especially loves all the other little kids. Marshall and I had a lot of fun too at the dance, it is always fun to hang out with my cousins.

Goofy Caleb

Caleb has pretty much turned into a toddler overnight it seems! He just runs around all over, loves to play and be silly. He's always asking, what's that? And his favorite word has got to be "Daddy." We are looking forward to Uncle Joey and Auntie Stephanie's wedding Saturday..Caleb is ready to show off his awesome dance moves!

Caleb's First Haircut

The first three pictures are BEFORE the haircut, the last three are AFTER. Caleb finally had his first haircut, it was a hard decision to cut those cute curls! He was such a good boy too, he sat on Daddy's lap and was quiet and still, with the exception of a few, what's that? (His favorite thing to say these days!) Now he looks like such a big boy.

It's the birthday boy!

Caleb has had lots of time to celebrate over the past week or so! Daycare celebrated his birthday early, he got a balloon and a toy phone from his teachers, Sara and Sarah. He LOVED the balloon. He walked all over carrying it and cried when he couldn't hold it!

Caleb got to open one present when we visited Grandma and Grandpa Bichler and Auntie Chelsea, before his birthday. He loved the ribbon on the package!

On his actual birthday, last Monday, he opened one gift at the farm, as we were in Osakis for Grandpa's funeral. His birthday party was this past weekend...pictures are coming soon!
