Crazy Caleb!

What a silly boy! Caleb is almost done with his ear infection medication so I hope this means he will be ear infection free for awhile! We are going to Fargo this weekend and then Caleb is going with Marshall to Minot for a few days. They are looking forward to daddy/son bonding time!

Happy Father's Day!

Caleb got to spend lots of time with Grandpa for Father's Day. He went up to the farm to spend the night Friday night. Grandma, Grandpa and Auntie Laura were there. Caleb got to visit his great-grandparents as well. He was such a good boy and even slept all night for them! Saturday morning he woke up sick and spent the day throwing up all over Grandma and Auntie. I came up to the farm that afternoon and we had dinner to celebrate Father's Day. Joey and Stephanie made it up there that night and Caleb had saved a little more throw-up for Auntie Stephanie! Despite being sick he still was such a good boy. He had lots of fun playing with Auntie, chasing Ollie around, and playing with Grandma's cane even!
On Sunday Marshall had to work (he worked Saturday, too) so we didn't really get to do anything special for Father's Day. We did go out for lunch and Caleb got to spend a little time in the afternoon playing with his daddy. He seems to be feeling better so I am guessing it was just a stomach bug!

Our beautiful boy's Baptism

Caleb was baptized on Sunday, June 10th at the Church of St. Timothy. Deacon Jents performed the baptism, which was held during a special ceremony for Caleb and 9 other babies. Deacon Jents also married Marshall and I at the same Church nearly 2 years ago. He had since retired but occasionally comes back to do baptisms. We were so glad he was able to do Caleb's, how meaningful! The service was very nice and Caleb was so well-behaved. He spent most of the time playing with his second cousin Kenna who was sitting in the pew in front of us. Caleb's godparents are my brother, Joey and my cousin, Angela. They were both there along with my family, most of my mom's side of the family, Marshall's mom, George and Chelsea, and some of our close friends. After the church service my parents hosted a lunch to help celebrate. It was such a nice day and we will be sure to tell Caleb all about it when he is older.

Sick boy!

Caleb has a double ear infection again, poor guy! In the last two pictures you can really tell he is not feeling well. He is on a new medication so hopefully this will clear up quickly and he'll stay healthy for awhile. He is also getting tooth #4 on the top so that is not helping!!

Just about walking!!

Caleb and Daddy

Caleb is very much a Daddy's boy! He always wants his daddy unless he is crabby and tired, then it is Mommy's turn of course! Tooth #3 is also popping through this week, it's on the top but not one of the front two teeth like we expected. I guess they don't always show up in 'order.'

June 1st!

Wow, it's June!! Where has this year gone? Caleb is doing well, he is done with his ear infection medication and it seems to have cleared up his coughing and runny nose, too. YAY! He had that forever. He's been very daring lately, pulling himself up on whatever he can, and trying to stand alone. I'm sure we are going to have an early walker on our hands. He's been having some sleeping issues, lately. He sleeps great, all night, but doesn't want to go to sleep at night! Last night he was up until nearly midnight with his Daddy. I hope this phase is over quickly!
